Delta Township is largely an urban community located on the west side of the Greater Lansing Capital Region and is more than 35 square miles in size. It is located mid-way between Detroit and Grand Rapids providing ease in commuting throughout the state.

The Township has experienced huge growth over the last 20 years and continues to see new development both residentially and commercially as demonstrated by the new Lansing Community College West Campus and the new General Motors manufacturing facilities.

The residents of the township have access to a large parks system and an equally supportive recreational program.

Some of the events residents have available to them include Mother/Son Dance, Music in the Park, Preschool Olympics, Fireworks, Pumpkin Carving and Painting and host of other events held throughout the year.

Delta Township also offers a wide array of services, shopping, and entertainment venues. You will find a wide variety of possibilities along the Saginaw Corridor.

From the eastern boundary at Waverly Road to western boundary of the township you will find shopping opportunities both big and small.

The Lansing Mall is an enclosed mall that is part of a large retail area located at Saginaw and Mall Drive.

As you travel west you will find an abundance of dining opportunities, hotels and additional retail opportunities.
